Challenge of workforce results

Organisations succeed when 3 results are achieved:

  • deliver as expected

  • financial margins (or value)

  • people are looked after

Break any one of these and the organisation can cease to exist.

Too often, stressed workers struggle to deliver quality product or services; while idle workers erode value and profits.

Even with best practise tools, like roster software, too much time is spent driving results and 'firefighting'  problems.

Avoiding poor results is hard because work is complex.

Planning and allocating workforces are  processes that all managers practise to varying levels of effectiveness.

Exceptional results need effective workforces

For great results, managers need to know how effective a workforce is and when, where and why it is not.  They must have a way to measure workforce effectiveness.

To suceed, organisations need an easier way to understand and improve workforce effectiveness.

Get better results

Using CENTRI is easy

For better workforce results use CENTRI to:

  1. forecast your workforces’ future effectiveness,

  2. get interventions that optimise, and

  3. see the impact change will bring to delivery, $ margins and people’s wellbeing.

CENTRI analysis is an online service.  Upload data from your existing workforce tools to get powerful visualisations that forecast your workforce's effectiveness.

It is ideal for organisations that manage more than 50 workersand know how many they will need, have and use from existing systems.

When to use
CENTRI analysis

Organisations can use CENTRI either:

  1. As a one off snap shot  to assess and check your workforce's effectiveness.

  2. Infrequently, e.g., quaterly updates of master rosters or funding or reporting cycles

  3. Routinely,  for each roster/plan before the revision and final versions are communicated

  4. Iteratively, revised roster/plans are re-analysed.

The Workflow

Using CENTRI  analysis is simple:

  1. Data in your existing systems (or spreadsheets) is used.

  2. You provide to CENTRI a file uploaded via a browser, or an API connection.

  3. AEM analysis calculations are run and checked by CENTRI (within 1 hour)

  4. Analysis visualisation links are emailed back to you, to provide access to either:

    • Tableau files (viewed in free Reader app.), and/or

    • Tableau Viewer froma  browser.

  5. (Optional) Sub-optimal roster/plans are replanned with CENTRI fix tools. Changes are re-analysed with Step3 and Step 4 is repeated demonstrating the impact of change.

Simple Input Data

The data required from your organisation for AEM analysis is simply how many people your organisation will:

  • NEED e.g., nurses in a shift,  engineers in a project, or positions in an organisation chart

  • HAVE - shift availability of nurses, holidays and part time work for engineers, or those in a position.

  • USE - e.g., nurses allocated to a shift, engineers allocated to projects,  or positions filled.

Such data is readily available in roster and scheduling applications, spreadsheets or organisation charts.
